The main section of this bag is made from one piece of leather for maximum strength and longevity, all hardware is solid brass including the rivets which are all hand hammered. Featuring hand burnished vegetable tanned straps and removable shoulder strap and an extra large solid brass YKK zipper and sewn using thread used on yacht sails - this is one duffle that won’t ever need replacing.
The durable yet supple oil tanned leather is stuffed with natural oils and waxes giving it a unique colour that changes as its pulled, while the veg tan straps give the extra strength for when you’re carrying a heavy load.

What an amazing experience it was dealing with Aaron, from the moment I first contacted him to the day the items were delivered. I couldnt have asked for better service! I reached out to Aaron to see if he could make the products in time for my husband's 50th. Although his website mentioned it would take at least 3 weeks to hand make the products from scratch, which is totally understandable considereing the quality! And my husband birthday was only 2 weeks away; Aaron said he will make it happen for me! It was very much appreciated and I am so glad I chose Anvil Hide to make such a special and unique gift for my hubby's big day. He absolutely loves the duffel bag, with his surname embossed for that extra special touch as well as the washbag and passport holder. Him being a glass blower by trade sincerely appreciated the Aussie made, hand crafted workmanship and still exclaimes to its rugged look and toughness and smell of beautiful leather.
