  • What are the widths of your belts?

25mm - Slim belt and Ladies belt

32mm - Heirloom Belt

38mm - Everyday Belt, Lights Out Belt , Classic Belt and Century belt 

44mm - Wide Belt and Unbreakable Belt 


  • Can I make amendments to my belt, like extra holes or an in-between size?

Absolutely. There is an "Add note your order" box on the cart page, please leave me any requests in there. If it's something I cannot do, I will contact you.


  • Where are you located?

Northern Beaches, Sydney, New South Wales - Australia.


  • How is the product made? 

Everything sold by Anvil Hide is 100% handmade by me (Aaron) in my Northern beaches studio. Sometimes I get in a very talented friend to help me if I am busy (because sometimes we all need help). 


  • Where are your materials from? 

Because I believe in giving the customer the very best product I can (and because I need my belts to stand up to a 7 year guarantee) I source only the best leather and hardware I can. Leather is generally from the USA or the UK because in my opinion those countries make the worlds best bridle leather. The hardware is generally sourced from the USA also. Unfortunately Australia does not have a very big manufacturing industry anymore and so this is why I need to import.


  • When will I receive my order?

As each belt is handmade specifically to your size, style and colour requirements I need generally 7 days from ordering before I can ship it to you. Sometimes, it may be quite a few days quicker and unfortunately sometimes it may take a day or two past that if I am very busy. I work as fast as I can while still maintaining attention to detail so please be patient, this is not a store where belts are ready made on a shelf ready to ship the same day - but, if you need it in a rush please reach out and I'll see what I can do!


  • What do I do if I never received my order?

Very rarely Australia Post loses a parcel, please email me at hello@anvilhide.com if you think this is the case.


  • How do I make changes to an order I’ve already placed?

Email me ASAP so I can amend your requirements before I start making your product!


  • How do I make sure I order the right size?

By using the size guide and measuring an old belt from buckle tip to your most used hole in CM. There is also a video on how to use the size guide if you need. View the guide here


  • What are the shipping options?

I ship via Australia post in 100% recyclable packaging. Everything is either cardboard or paper. Express shipping is an option at checkout if you require a speedy delivery.


As each belt is made specifically to order I am not able to return for incorrect sizing or change of mind. As a small maker I do not keep belts "in stock, ready to ship" and so I make each order as it is received - out of the raw materials. If however, you feel you need to return due to an issue with the belt please email me at hello@anvilhide.com and I will look after you.
