Bloody ripper mate. This belt is definitely heavy duty , it sits perfectly around my waist and the double buckle not only looks great it also holds the belt straight. I have added some western style decorative studs for going out partying but this belt will also be used for holding my knife and hatchet while I’m out hunting. The 'Unbreakable belt' I purchased from Aron at Anvil Hide is just a class act. Never have I seen a belt like this one. It will last for many many years. I have had many belts in the past, not even in the same league as Arons belt. Mate you are a top craftsman. Belt hanger is great too. I now have two of these belts, but the unbreakable ox blood belt is by far the most superior. This belt is tough and durable and also at the same time very stylish. The name says it all, one solid belt i had to soften it up a bit with some dubbin but certainly lives up to the claims, fits well and matches my oxblood shoes which is a very hard color to match belt wise. I like to polish my shoes, and this will certainly match the criteria.

Look, I’m a big guy. And I like my pants to stay up. The number of belts I have owned over the years that have at only a week of ownership started giving the telltale signs that they were not long for this world, that soon, like my ex wife, they would inevitably let me down, I cannot count.
Not so with Anvil Hide. A real damn leather hide belt, that has withstood my rear exterior posterior with not even the slightest hint of loosening, wearing, stretching, moving out under cover of darkness, buckle failure, or any other such malady.

It was a pleasure dealing with Anvil Hide. The quality could not be better. No doubt this belt will outlast me. Probably thicker leather than I anticipated even though the description is clear. The only small issue I have is more to do with my pants than the belt. I can’t centre the buckle properly because the leather when folded over is too thick to go through the loop on the pants. Just something for others to consider when ordering….the everyday belt being a bit thinner would no doubt be a non issue. But I would recommend this belt in a heartbeat. Thank you

This belt, I mean seriously, it took me back to my horse riding days with my uncle as a kid. The sound of its thickness tightening, the feel, the smell all made that experience come back to life.

I love this belt. I have had it for about 5 minutes and it's my favourite that I've ever owned. Reminiscent of a thick English bridle leather belt I had, but much sturdier and with a better finish. By its nature it has a weight-belt like effect. As a large man I'm used to belts being these little pinching things, but not this one. This one feels like armour. I would wear this belt into battle.
Pictured is a comparison with a 'nice' belt that I got from a reputable Australian large men's retailer and have worn for about a year. Completely destroyed, and pathetic in comparison.
The maker was also kind enough to include extra holes at my request, with no compromise to the look or feel of the belt.
