Picture is to show the amazing solidity of this superb belt. ( But don't worry, it still goes through the loops of your jeans.) Lots of people have raved about the quality of this belt, and they are right, it's excellent. What I didn't expect is that the firmness of this belt (and my other one, the Century) makes them really comfortable. They don't bend, they do what they should. I have been trying to find this this belt for years - decades - and finally it found me. I am often sceptical about ads I get on Facebook, but decided to take the plunge after checking Anvil Hide out for quite a while.
Outstanding quality: from the packaging, it was a treat to unbox and unwrap, the personal thank you, the grade of leather, the cutting and punching of the holes, the careful lining up of the buckle fold-over, the lining up of the Chicago screw slots and the embossing of the Anvil Hide name. Obviously produced by a craftsman who takes care and pride in his work and for me, the details matter. I do some blacksmithing and woodworking myself and greatly appreciate the effort and detail that Aaron pays attention to.
You get what you pay for and what I got was more than I expected and hoped for. I will enjoy wearing this belt and watching it wear in, in the years ahead.

After ordering my new belt I was a bit dubious that it may be abit to thick to wear everyday and would dig into me when sitting well how wrong was I it fits perfectly and you dont even know your wearing it the quality is second to none delivery was only a week as well after comparing this belt to a store bought belt I will never buy a store bought belt again.

I have included a picture with a belt recently purchased for 2/3 of the cost of a bring your own buckle belt from Anvil. The belt is less than 50% 0f the quality of an Anvil belt in my opinion. The belt in question is an Australian made belt of which I am restraining from leaving a review because I am unable to bring myself to leave a positive review. Things like holes not big enough, not advertised width etc.
I purchased 2 belts as my 1st belts from Anvil and I am extremely happy with the quality, workmanship and service that was associated with the purchase. The belts were "The Unbreakable Belt-The Original" (Wow this belt is something else) and the "Bring Your Own Buckle". The Bring your own buckle is in Dark Chocolate which is a fantastic cover. I have occasionally found a leather worker & had custom made belts before but these are next level.

Not quite sure where to start with this review, honestly a little blown away by the products and service. Aaron was incredibly accommodating throughout the process, messaging me to correct an error in sizing (my mistake, his pickup). Great bloke on the whole, I was lucky enough to pop into the workshop and see where the magic happens. While I was there, Aaron made a couple of belt hangers for me on the spot, amazing service.
In regards to the products, I've been wearing the unbreakable belt for a couple months now. It's been through 60 degree ambient temps, stood in front of a 1300 degree furnace, been doused in everything from water to cyanide and looks better now than the day I picked it up. The thing that surprised me most was just how comfortable the belt is, the thickness does wonders for avoiding the "dig" into the midsection that we all hate. Truly some incredible craftsmanship and an amazing product. I wouldn't be surprised if this belt lived longer than me.
I also ordered the duffle bag, which is getting it's first run as we speak. The leather is thicker than that of any bag I've ever used, moulds around the body well, carry handles are incredibly comfortable with >15kg in the bag. I'll be messaging Aaron once my carry-on bag decides to give up the ghost to see if he'll do one of those for me as well .
All in all, you can't go wrong with Aaron, or Anvil hide. If you're on the fence, do it, you won't regret it.

I got 2 of these belts a year ago (one for my work pants and one to sling lower on my hips for my tool pouch which is the one in the photos) and I waited this long to leave a review to really test them out. I’m a sheet metal worker so I needed something durable and didn’t want the standard tool belts because I just find them so uncomfortable or they’ve broken within a few months. I haven’t been gentle with my belts and they have held up incredibly well.
I can’t sing their praises high enough and I know if I ever, somehow, manage to break one I’ll probably ugly cry then pick myself up and buy another one ASAP.

I waited 12 months to review this product. I work in open cut mining and bought the unbreakable belt from Aaron. His customer service was excellent, the belt is amazing. In the photos I put the previous work belt I wore. The amount of things I wear attached to the belt warped and stretched the inferior belt. Aaron’s “UNBREAKABLE” belt lives up to its name. The quality of full grain leather, the thickness and durability make it an easy decision and more than worth the money. I have recently bought another two belts from Anvil Hide for non work purposes and love them too. When I ordered the belt, I underestimated how thick it was. I was reading the description, thinking, "Nah, I've got a couple of wide belts. It won't be anything too crazy", but when it got here, I realised just how much leather goes into this thing, and I'm glad I got one. It's a great belt that may take some time to break in due to its thickness, but once it's broken in, it feels like a belt made specifically for you.
On a side note, trust the sizing guide. Despite following their guide, I've bought a few belts from different brands and have had to size them up/ down, but this one is spot on.
