Not quite sure where to start with this review, honestly a little blown away by the products and service. Aaron was incredibly accommodating throughout the process, messaging me to correct an error in sizing (my mistake, his pickup). Great bloke on the whole, I was lucky enough to pop into the workshop and see where the magic happens. While I was there, Aaron made a couple of belt hangers for me on the spot, amazing service.
In regards to the products, I've been wearing the unbreakable belt for a couple months now. It's been through 60 degree ambient temps, stood in front of a 1300 degree furnace, been doused in everything from water to cyanide and looks better now than the day I picked it up. The thing that surprised me most was just how comfortable the belt is, the thickness does wonders for avoiding the "dig" into the midsection that we all hate. Truly some incredible craftsmanship and an amazing product. I wouldn't be surprised if this belt lived longer than me.
I also ordered the duffle bag, which is getting it's first run as we speak. The leather is thicker than that of any bag I've ever used, moulds around the body well, carry handles are incredibly comfortable with >15kg in the bag. I'll be messaging Aaron once my carry-on bag decides to give up the ghost to see if he'll do one of those for me as well .
All in all, you can't go wrong with Aaron, or Anvil hide. If you're on the fence, do it, you won't regret it.

I got 2 of these belts a year ago (one for my work pants and one to sling lower on my hips for my tool pouch which is the one in the photos) and I waited this long to leave a review to really test them out. I’m a sheet metal worker so I needed something durable and didn’t want the standard tool belts because I just find them so uncomfortable or they’ve broken within a few months. I haven’t been gentle with my belts and they have held up incredibly well.
I can’t sing their praises high enough and I know if I ever, somehow, manage to break one I’ll probably ugly cry then pick myself up and buy another one ASAP.

I waited 12 months to review this product. I work in open cut mining and bought the unbreakable belt from Aaron. His customer service was excellent, the belt is amazing. In the photos I put the previous work belt I wore. The amount of things I wear attached to the belt warped and stretched the inferior belt. Aaron’s “UNBREAKABLE” belt lives up to its name. The quality of full grain leather, the thickness and durability make it an easy decision and more than worth the money. I have recently bought another two belts from Anvil Hide for non work purposes and love them too. I ummed and erred over which belt to get as they all looked so good, but settled on the unbreakable belt and I have not regretted it. It looks great, feels great to wear and gives a solid sound when taking it off... like heavy duty horse tack. I know I'll be wearing this belt everyday for many many years. When I ordered the belt, I underestimated how thick it was. I was reading the description, thinking, "Nah, I've got a couple of wide belts. It won't be anything too crazy", but when it got here, I realised just how much leather goes into this thing, and I'm glad I got one. It's a great belt that may take some time to break in due to its thickness, but once it's broken in, it feels like a belt made specifically for you.
On a side note, trust the sizing guide. Despite following their guide, I've bought a few belts from different brands and have had to size them up/ down, but this one is spot on.

The quality and craftsmanship of this belt is superb! I have only worn it for 10 minutes or so after I have got it but honestly reckon it will last a lifetime. The extra thickness and width makes it very Comfortable too.

Purchased the unbreakable belt 18 months ago.
I do Fly in Fly out work 2 weeks on 1 week off so i work in temperatures from 0° to 50° i work with various chemicals, work in the rain, dirt and sweat.
The belt takes a beating and feels like it has only just been worn in.
No sign of wear or deterioration, it has only changed colour from the usage.

Stand out Quality!!! This belt can be called very “sick unbelievable belt”. What I have revived is about 7mm leather with quality finishing!! Definitely, this is a heavy duty belt!! I was always looking for a belt that looked like the one that the still unknown Andy Warhol model was wearing on the front cover of the Rolling Stones Album "Sticky Fingers". A thick leather belt with a double tongue. I have not seen these belts since the 1970s. They give very solid support in keeping one's jeans in place. The initial belt that i ordered was black in colour. I liked it so much that I obtained a second one in a natural hide.

Aaron is quite foolish in making these belts so durable and he obviously has not heard of "Planned Obsolescence" , where one designs an item with an intended limited life span. That makes the customer purchase the item again in the future, when the originally purchased item wears out. No such luck here! In the future when they drop the bomb the only things left on earth shall be double headed cockroaches and Aaron's Sticky Fingers double tongued belts. They are impervious to oblivion!

On the surface in comparison to mass produced belts the Anvil Hide belt is expensive. I had been coveting one for a few months. I have to admit the cost was an issue. I never dreamed of spending nearly $200 on a belt.
But after another cheap belt self destructed on me I bit the bullet and ordered an breakable belt.
I'm glad I did, this belt will save me money in the long run. The fact it is guaranteed for 7 years means it will last much longer.
