Handcrafted in Australia using 5mm thick, 38mm wide strap, this belt is made using chrome girth point leather* from Thomas Ware and Sons in Bristol, UK - this is a handmade leather belt like no other.

More about the incredible leather used in this belt:
*Girth point leather is specifically created for the equestrian trade to secure the saddle to the horse. It is a leather that requires three very distinct things - Strength (to hold the saddle to the horse), Durability (as it needs to resist wear and tear while being exposed to the elements) and Flexibility (to accomodate the movements of the horse and rider).
This leather has a high wax content making it firm to begin with, the belt will soften up over time and break in.
If embossing this belt with your names or initials, please choose "Plain" stamp as the gold and silver foil does not stick well to this leather due to the high wax content
Due to the strict criteria required in making girth point leather in the tannery only smaller hides are used and so we are only able to make this leather into belts for 137cm waists (50" pants) or less.
I finally decided to order my Century Belt. I was a bit uncertain on which buckle to go with. I phoned Aaron he was more than helpful. I decided to go black with brass buckle. This will match brown and black boots. I also decided to go with one hole less on the end, it will allow me to adjust my belt if l manage to lose weight in the future. My belt really is a master piece, it is a heavy belt compared to other brands, that's what makes it eye catching. I also love the fact of supporting a family owned Australian business. Thanks Aaron
Century Belt!! Excellent workmanship and looks bullet proof.
Only regret is that unlike other belts this one will outlive me by multiples of at least 20 times. Think of all the lesser worn out belts that I threw away in my lifetime. Benefit would be that I will not have to buy less inferior belts that breaks.
Side benefit is that we are supporting local industry, especially if it is in Sydney. (I'm a Sydney sider!) Too many times have I seen Australian small industry disappear because they could not compete with foreign imports!!

Beautiful belt. It's obviously built to last 100 years, but I won't. It so so valuable, I've had to change my will to ensure it gets passed on to my offspring. However, now I'll need to buy another one so both children are treated equally.

Without doubt the finest belt I have ever owned. It is thick yet pliable, hard wearing, all the fixtures are top quality and the attention to detail is second to none.
The ends have been burnished, the eyes are elliptical and not cylindrical so you don't have to pinch the belt and unnecessarily wear the leather when donning.
This is my daily belt and I have since thrown out every so called "high end" belt from retail stores since.
10/10, will buy again.

I would give it an easy 5+ stars but for the colour. It is called ‘Dark Brown’ but only under specific lighting conditions can any brown be seen, its essentially a black belt

I bought a Classic belt 4 years ago and wear it everyday and it is still looking great with many years of wear left.

The belt is very sturdy and will take a lot of wearing just to break it in. Looks so much better with the double keepers and shoulder be standard on a belt of this quality and price.

I thought when one purchased a century belt with a 100year guarantee would come with some documentation to support that or the 100year guarantee a marketing scam?? Would like to hear back on this.
