A perfect product - quality, robust, great looking and Australian.
Had to get a video of this outside - The colours are just amazing. Both Hermann Oak but have different shades and patina. Aaron worked with me to make a custom 38mm double prong - almost like a baby unbreakable. Managed to pair it with a double prong copper buckle I had which matches my Patina King.
I’m not one for reviews, ever, but here’s why I felt almost obliged to. I messaged Aaron in June 2025 for a black-out belt with a buckle and keeper I supplied myself. Probably the easiest bit of dialogue with a ‘seller’ ever. So the belt arrives (quickly), and it looks and feels like it was crafted by the Greek God Hephaestus. I’m like “cool” - let’s see how it holds up. I wear the absolute shite out of the belt - dress it up and down and throw it around in luggage. I do this for what is now almost 6 months. Still looks immaculate. By this point I want a ‘brown’ one to accessorise like a modern man with some ‘ole trusty Chestnut RM’s. So I message Aaron and ask about a belt in his Bargains Bin - it’s a bargain because it apparently has a ‘mark’ on the inside of the belt. I ask for a silver buckle and keeper. I get it. This conversation takes place 25 November 2025. I put the order in. Belt arrives 2 days later. Once again, it’s mint. I inspect the belt, and see the ‘mark’ that made it a Bargain…I laugh because Aaron is crazy… “This makes it sell at a discounted price?!” - I feel like I robbed an artisan at this point. Anyway, long story short the man is possessed by Hephaestus and has the integrity of a man carrying 8 pints on a concave tray.

I was really impressed with the service. Communication was excellent, the belt was delivered quickly and it looks great! The leather is of very high quality, and it was easy with the instructions provided to replace the buckle from my old RM Williams belt myself. RM Williams no longer make the size I needed of belt, so I was lucky to find Anvil & Hyde. Would definitely recommend.

Aaron modified the belt to fit the buckle I've become sentimentally attached to after 35 years. The quality of the leather and the workmanship is better than I've seen anywhere. My grandsons will be wearing this belt.
2 years ago my daily wear R.M.Williams belt broke and I replaced it with AnvilHide's 'unbreakable' belt. Great quality & workmanship and it shows little sign of wear. When I recently came across my old R.M.Williams buckle, I sent it off to Aaron to use for a new belt. Same great quality & workmanship, good communication and fast turnaround. Highly recommend for quality craftmanship.

Great belt! Much thicker belt than normal which is great! Should last twice as long as my previous belt.
The replacement leather belt now attached to my buckle is excellent. The belt/buckle combination will last another 15 years easy, based on how much better the Anvil Hide leather is compared to the original. I now have difficult choices every day…my beautiful Anvil Hide extra wide belt or my custom belt attached to my buckle. Lucky to have the choices. Very impressed Aaron.
Customer service was friendly quick and easy to deal with! My belt is just what I hoped for. Thick quality leather! Supple, soft and comfortable straight out of the box yet strong enough to tow a Toyota Landcruiser! Yes it’s an investment compared to an average brand name belt BUT the leather leaves the expensive brand names for dead. It will definitely last a lifetime if you look after it. Quality is what you pay for! Can not be happier with this belt and proud to support a local business. Cheers Anvil for a true blue product!
Had the 'leather' on two RM Williams belts replaced with true hide leather by Anvil Hide. Awesome work! The quality of the leather is much superior to the original stuff on the RM's. VERY HAPPY!
Tried bring your own buckle , was so good I got Aaron to recycle 2 more buckles I had from the 80’s - great craftsmanship, high quality Leather nice and thick - they look great perfect sizing instructions ~ I highly recommend Anvil Hide Leather and good on ya Aaron recycling good for the environment, thanks.
Was easy enough to install my own buckle with a flat head screwdriver, belt itself is thick n hefty, great quality and I can see it'll last as long as I will, I thought adding personalized stamped initials for and extra $20 was a bit rich considering the price of the belt and it's a job that takes half a min, but that's just me.

I had an old bel from 20 years ago that didn’t fit me anymore, but the buckle was a keeper. Aaron from Anvil Hide was able to rescue it for me and the result is looking awesome.
I bought this buckle about 25 years ago in the leather markets in Firenze, Italy. I have loved it all that time and have wanted to replace the leather many times, but just never found the craftsmanship or the leather I was looking for. Now I have thanks to Anvil Hide and Aaron’s handiwork, I’ll have this belt for a long time to come.

Hi love the product the service and friendly chat. The belt looks good. We had to modify the width of the belt where it went through the custom made buckle which wasn’t wide enough for the thick belt. We also had to widen the holes the buckle went through. It is a very special belt buckle with lots of sentimental value and now those modifications have been made we are happy with it. And wear with pride, regards jill
